The Beginning

When L.L. and I first arrived in Ohio we were pretty tired. Our flights went well and we only experienced one major meltdown. I was no longer afraid of flying alone with a 15 month old. However, I wasn’t looking forward to the trip home, either.

Our first day there we took it easy. Tried to sleep in, walked around the neighborhood, went to the playground and took a well deserved nap! My nephews were very taken with L.L. from the beginning. It was so cute to see them fawn over her. Lots of hugging, picking up, sharing and trying to play everything with her.

The only downer was that I got sick the night before we departed. The cough stayed with me for a week, luckily I was still able to enjoy everything with my family.
