We have made it to Christmas – woohoo!
This year our Christmas was about as eventful as we could handle. Upon getting up I couldn’t stand it and had to get L.L. to opening gifts. She took to as well as any infant would; however, I think the most exciting thing for her was that we were dogsitting our friend’s dog, Newman.
The one big memory for me was that L.L. got to wear the outfit I wore for my first Christmas. I was really worried that it wouldn’t fit her…but my worry was for nothing. It all worked out. Of course, I have pictures, to share!
There isn’t too much to tell about the day other than it wasn’t as relaxing as our previous ones. I wasn’t prepared for that, but it’s all good, I look forward to many more with even more excitement!
We did go over to our friends house, who cooked the most amazing meal for us, as always. She’s an amazing cook and we have been lucky enough to spend 2 Christmas dinners with her, plus last years Thanksgiving. Not to mention, she is our babysitter extraordinaire, so she’s got everything in the bag when it comes to us. We did have a bit of a mishap at her house. Baby had a teeny bit of a blow out, so we ended up in the bathroom cleaning her, when the ghost in their apartment struck and a three wick candle fell from the back of the toilet all over everything! When I say everything I mean everything, even Gil’s pants. Of course, we had L.L. in pajamas and we didn’t have another full outfit for her, so she ended up in a button up sweater with knee socks – perfect!
Oh the memories!
I love all of the pictures. Domingo cracks me up, in the center of the action yet looking very aloof and too cool for school. Thanks for sharing! And of course what a cute outfit for L.L., glad your outfit fit her, a very cool memory!
